Gur Arie Piepskovitz is a theatre and performance maker who lives in London. Originally from Tel Aviv, he has worked in commercial, local theatre, and film before moving to the UK. He completed his M.A. in Performance at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2016. His work combines theatre, performance art, and cabaret and uses meta-theatrical elements like role-playing, self-irony, and the intertwining of narratives. Piepskovitz’s shows have been presented at many different venues, including Greenside at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, and Camden People’s Theatre in London. As an actor he has performed in shows at the Tate Modern and The Yard Theatre. Piepskovitz also works as a teacher of Hebrew and Drama and runs an acting workshop which is inspired by Jewish culture.
