Rosenthal, Amy

Amy Rosenthal is a playwright who was born in 1974 in London to screenwriter Jack Rosenthal and actress Maureen Lipman. She studied playwriting at Birmingham University. Her plays include: Sitting Pretty (1998), Henna Night, which was the winner of the Sunday Times Drama Award in 1999, Jerusalem Syndrome (2000), Thank God It’s Friday (co-written with Cosh Omar 2007), On the Rocks (2008), which was shortlisted for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in 2009, The Jitterbug Blitz (2009), and Fear of Cherry Blossom, which premiered at Cheltenham Everyman Studio Theatre in 2016.
